Our client, a construction company focused on modular buildings and a solution for any construction needs you have including, but not limited to, c-stores, canopies and additional construction. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65,000

Position Overview:

As Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee all aspects of financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information. The ideal Staff Accountant candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background, and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is goal oriented.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Journal Entries
• Bank recs
• Light AP
• Balance sheet and PnL
• Pivot tables
• V-lookups
• Some formulas
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting
• Proficiency in financial reporting systems and tools; advanced Excel skills required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in U.S.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field is required
