Breakthru Beverage Group in partnership with one of key strategic supplier partners, Brown-Forman is seeking to hire full-time diverse Sales Leadership Development Interns for our Washington, DC Market. This is a full-time 10-week internship (June 2nd 2025- August 8th, 2025) requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Our 10-week Summer Sales Leadership Development Internship Program in Washington, DC offers HBCU and PBI college students a glimpse into the Beverage Alcohol Industry with a focus on the Distribution tier of the business.

As an Intern, you will sharpen your leadership skills, tackle real-world challenges, and collaborate with the best leaders in the industry.

You will have the opportunity to network with executives and key leaders, participate in experiential learning and social events with other interns and our leadership development professionals.

As a leading national distributor in beverage alcohol, our responsibility is to determine the strategic path to growth and facilitate activation with our sales teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with business-critical projects, data analysis and strategy development, while collaboring with cross functional team members in sales, field marketing, finance, and more.
  • Lead the creation and execution of business analysis and sales strategy related projects to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with commercial sales leadership and team to ensure effective communication, timely and complete delivery of projects, and future execution of project recommendations.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and other cross functional partners to identify business opportunities.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an HBCU or PBI, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • The ideal candidate will possess natural curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the capability to engage and influence a diverse set of colleagues and customers to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in a Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
  • Interested in pursuing a career path in Sales Leadership or Field Marketing.
  • Must be 21 years of age at time of internship.
  • Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems.
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
