BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Architect V for an opportunity in US - Chicago, IL
Position Title: Application Architect V
Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: 40 hours work week

Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2

Summary

• Responsible for designing and developing code to deliver functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability /ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
• Strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements, estimating work, defect triage, code deployment and production release activities .
• Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

Required Skills

• Overall 8+ years of Technology in application development using Java/J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, REST APIs, Angular
• 2+ years of hands on experience in Angular, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform 4.x, Cloud Edition (PCE), Java 8+, Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience working with RDBMS: Oracle 11g / SQL Server; Strong in DB SQL language
• Should have hands on experience in Angular, Mule implementation including Design, Development and Implementation
• Experience in writing mUnit Tests
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower)
• Experience working in Agile development process and tools like Jira.
• Analytical and Problem solving skills
• Self-motivated to learn on the job and demonstrate important skills like Communication, Teamwork, Accountability & Ownership
